Club Competitions
Captain Vs President: The number of applicants for this competition is divided equally between the Captain & President to make rinks of triples or fours depending on the number of applicants. This is followed by a meal of Bangers & Mash in the marque paid for by the Captain & President. Played over one day see below.
Club Pairs: A straight forward pairs match (four woods) KO competition. The two people playing in each team of two are drawn at random. Entry from any club member
Club Singles: A straight forward singles (four woods) KO competition played on a knock-out basis. Entry from any club member.
Ernie Garwood Shield: This is a straight forward singles KO competition for new members and more established members who have never won the Club Singles.
Friday Points: Every Friday afternoon's roll-up earns points, five for a winning rink and one for the loosing. These are accumulated over the season with the highest accumulated score being the winner.
Gordon Collier Cup: A straight forward singles competition played with two woods on a KO basis. Entry from any club member.
Grudge Match A Vs B: A match between the two triple league teams "A" & "B". See scheduled date below.
Sestak Trophy: A match played with four people playing on each rink with two woods. Scoring 4 points for nearest the jack, 3 points for second , 2 for third & 1 for fourth. Each player keeps their own score card with the highest accumulated score the winner. See scheduled date below
Two Woods Comp: This is similar to The Sestak Trophy with the highest accumulated score playing the second highest accumulated score in a final play-off, played in one day. See scheduled date below

Unfortunately the 2 Woods trophy, above, had insufficient entrants to run the competition. This will be re-scheduled for later in the season when, hopefully, there will be enough entrants.
The Sestak Trophy was won by Mick Morrissey with an equal tie for second place between Peter King & Godfrey Blatcher.
